At Regan Movement, we make people feel good in their bodies. With a wellness approach to movement, we give your body what it needs, changing how you feel, move, and look, and allowing you to feel and look your best.
With hours within days spent seated, often hunched over a computer, phone or tv, we become compressed, sending messages to our muscles that they don’t need to be lengthened and hydrated after long hours behind the desk. Our mission is to bring you back into your body and out of the virtual world. We want to connect you to your body, reawaken each part, mobilize, and move you in all ranges of motion, like when you were a kid. By realigning and building strength both in your tiny deep stabilizers and bigger muscles, we create balance in the body and mind, ease(agile) movement and improved posture. We use multiple movement techniques from pilates, yoga, Gyrotonic, somatic movement, and functional movement to help you achieve these goals.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASS?
Clothing you feel comfortable moving in, water to stay hydrated, and an open mind. Pilates and Gyrokinesis® are both barefoot activities so no shoes in the studio please.
DO I NEED TO BRING A MAT?
We’ve got you covered—mats are provided free of charge.
I'M PREGNANT, CAN I COME TO CLASS?
Absolutely, all of our movements can be adjusted for expecting moms just give your instructor a heads up before class. As always, we recommend double checking with your doctor before incorporating any new physical activity. And stay tuned, we have a prenatal class in the works!
I HAVE AN INJURY, CAN I COME TO CLASS?
You know your body better than we do so listen to what it’s telling you! If any movements aggravate existing injuries we recommend taking it easy for a bit! That said, Pilates and Gyrokinesis® are both incredibly beneficial tools for healing injuries just make sure you speak with your instructor before class so the correct modifications can be made. Be aware that we are located on the fourth floor of a walk up with no elevator.
I’VE NEVER DONE PILATES OR GYROKINESIS®, IS THAT OK?
Of course! Our classes are open to all levels and we love meeting new faces. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to introduce yourself to your instructor and to let them know you’re new.
HOW DO I PURCHASE A CLASS?
All of our classes can be booked through MindBody and can be purchased as single drop-ins or in packages.
IS THERE AN ELEVATOR?
No, there is not an elevator but just think of the stairs as a pre-class warm-up!
WHAT'S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
We ask that you cancel online at least 12 hours before your class starts. If you fail to cancel ahead of time and do not show, you will be charged for the class. If you purchased a package and fail to cancel ahead of time and do not show you will be docked a class from the purchased pack.
WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE?
Life happens and we try to be accommodating but unfortunately we can’t allow latecomers into a class. Out of respect to the class we can’t allow others to join after 5 minutes.
MAY I RESERVE A PRIVATE GROUP CLASS OR EVENT?
Yes, we want to meet all of your friends! We can host private group classes in studio. Just send us an email with fair warning and we’ll get it organized.
ARE THERE SHOWERS?
No, we don’t have any showers. Sorry!
